Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Discussed the 1.6 Notes and completed the 1.6 notes in the note packet. Groups then worked on the 1.6 - Relation and Function Practice worksheet.  Finish for homework and groups will discuss them tomorrow.

Today in Geometry you:
Finished the 1.6 Notes on Pythagorean Theorem and the distance formula. HW: p.47 #13,15-18,22,29 (answers)

Wednesday, August 30

Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Took the 1.1-1.5 Quiz.  HW: Read section 1.6 on Relations and Function in the textbook and take notes.

Today in Geometry you:
Reviewed examples from section 1.1 on how to name different geometric objects. Continued with the 1.6 notes on finding and using midpoints. Additionally, the 12pm section discussed the Pythagorean Theorem. HW: complete the midpoint worksheet (answers)

Tuesday, August 29

Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Reviewed for your quiz tomorrow. HW: p.43 #1-22 (answers)
The following homework will be checked-in tomorrow: p.17, p.10, p.24, p.30, p.39, and p.43

Today in Geometry you:
Practiced problems from 1.2 and discussed #36-39 from last night's homework. Started the 1.6 Notes on the coordinate plane and midpoints. Finish the p.17 assignment from last night if you haven't already.

Monday, August 28

Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Went over the 1.1-1.4 quick quiz and made corrections. Completed the 1.5 note on Properties of Exponents. HW: p.39 #43-50,56-58,76-78 (answers)
*The 1.1-1.5 Quiz will be this Wednesday, and the homework will be checked-in then*

Today in Geometry you:
Went over the Quick Quizzes from Friday and the postulate homework. Started the 1.2 Notes (we did not finish). HW: p.17 #1-10 (skip #5),18,24-27,30,36-39 (answers)  *Note: This is a LONG assignment; I'm sorry. Only spend 20 minutes on it. It won't be collected tomorrow, we will spend some time talking about it tomorrow.

Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Finished the 1.4 Notes and took the 1.1-1.3 quick quiz. HW: p.30 #9-23 odds, 29 (answers).  There will be a 1.1-1.5 Quiz next Wednesday (8/30)

Today in Geometry you:
Continued with the 1.1 Notes on Postulates and then took a 1.1 quick assessment. HW: complete the postulate worksheet (answers)

Thursday, August 24

Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Finished the 1.1 notes on set builder notation and the 1.3 notes on square roots (we will talk more about adding and subtracting square roots in the 10am class tomorrow). HW: finish the set-builder problems in yesterday's assignment and p.24 #19-29 odds, 35-41 odds, 50, 54 (answers)

Today in Geometry you:
Continued with the 1.1 Notes through intersection/union. HW: p.9 #9,10,16-21,23-27,33,39 (answers)

Wednesday, August 23

Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Went over the 1.2 homework and started the 1.1 Notes. We did not discuss set-builder notation. HW: p.10#13-39 odds, 53-55 (answers) but skip any problems about set-builder notation (they are highlighted on the answer key)

Today in Geometry you:
Practiced the beginning of class routine and started the 1.1 Notes. There was no assigned homework.

Tuesday, August 22

Today in Algebra 2/Trig you:
Took the Algebra PreTest.  We will go over the 1.2 homework and start section 1.1 tomorrow.

Today in Geometry you:
Took a Geometry PreTest and explored the online textbook. We will start the Chapter 1 notes tomorrow.
